What a gymnast wants for Christmas!!
For the beginner gymnast the top on their list is always a kip bar. This Z-Athletic ZATH-KIP-Purple Expandable Kip Bar Gymnastics, Training, Standard, Purple is great for beginners. Even after my daughter out grew hers she used it do to her conditioning and stretching off the bar.
You can’t get on the bars without grips and for the beginners these pretty in Pink Gibson grips are great! They will get great use for them and prepare them from when they have to move on to these Reisport Grips that will make your heart drop whey they start jumping to the high bar.
No gymnasts collection would be complete without this AWESOME medal holder from AlliedMedal Hangers. An inspirational quote to remind them that perseverance is key!
Not only do they need the equipment but they should also be inspired to work hard and never give. Courage to Soar by Simone Biles does that and more, my daughter and I read it and loved it. It was a great way to remind her that despite your circumstances that you can achieve anything.
To round off the Top 5 must for your gymnast…..THE BEAM!!!! This 4 in wide 8 feet long beam will really make her “beam” all year long as she can practice her full turns, her leg kicks, her side walks and so much more. I don’t recommend doing advance skills but she can practice walking on her toes all day long to gain confidence so she will be competition ready!
The one thing we need to remind our gymnast is that they are not what they do, that what they do is just part of who they are and the they are loved no matter what!
